Dans cette série d’articles, je vous explique comment faire monter votre personnages d’un niveau. Pour commencer, je vous propose de monter votre barde d’un niveau.

Le barde est une classe lanceuse de sorts connus. Pour rappel je vous explique les différentes types de classe dans cet article.

Attention aux différentes traductions du manuel des joueurs

En fonction de quand votre manuel des joueurs a été imprimé, il y a eu des changements de traduction. voici ce que j’ai remarqué

• L’aptitude « sorts » = « incantation »
• Sorts mineurs = tours de magie
• Tromperie = supercherie

Mots à ne pas confondre

• Aptitude : À ne pas confondre avec les sorts. Les sorts sont dans leur chapitre dédié. Même si certaines aptitudes sont clairement magiques, elles n’utilisent pas d’emplacements de sort. Ce sont deux choses bien différentes.
• Sort : À ne pas confondre avec les aptitudes. Les sorts sont lancés avec l’aptitude « incantation » (ou l’aptitude « sorts » selon la traduction de votre Manuel des joueurs) et chaque sort consomme un emplacement de sort à l’exception des sorts mineurs (ou tours de magie selon la traduction de votre manuel des joueurs).

Tableau d’évolution du Barde

Dans le manuel des joueurs, à la page 53, il y a ce que j’appelle le tableau des niveaux qui synthétise les aptitudes que vous débloquez à chaque niveau. Comprendre comment l’interpréter est indispensable pour pouvoir faire évoluer son personnage.

La colonne « niveau » concerne le niveau de votre personnage. Par exemple, si vous venez de passer au niveau 2 (en gras sur l’image d’au dessus), vous avez maintenant :

• Votre bonus de maîtrise à +2 (pas de changement par rapport au niveau précédent).
• Vous avez deux nouvelles aptitudes : Touche-à-tout et Chant reposant.
  • Allez à la page 54 du manuel pour connaitre leurs effets et écrivez-les sur votre fiche de personnage ou imprimez-les pour les avoir à portez de main lors de votre prochaine partie.
• Vous connaissez 2 sorts mineurs (pas de changement)
• Vous connaissez 5 sorts (un de plus que lorsque vous étiez niveau 1)
  • Rendez-vous à la page 207 du manuel pour choisir un sort supplémentaire, puis écrivez-le sur votre fiche de personnage ou imprimez-le.
• Vous avez trois emplacements de sorts de niveau 1 (un emplacement de sort de niveau 1 supplémentaire par rapport au niveau précédent)

Les niveaux clés du barde

Le niveau 3 : au niveau trois vous allez devoir choisir un collège bardique

Les niveaux 4, 8, 12, 16 et 19 : Vous pourrez améliorer vos caractéristiques (ou choisir un don si vous jouer avec les règles optionnelles des dons)

Dé de vie du Barde

Ajouter 1d8 (ou 5) + votre modificateur de Constitution à vos point de vie actuel.
Remarque : Si vous êtes passez niveau 4 et que vous avez choisis d’améliorer votre caractéristique de constitution ce qui a eu pour effet d’améliorer votre modificateur de constitution de +2 à +3 par exemple, vous devez ajouter la différence (c’est à dire +1) multiplié par votre niveau actuel à votre total de point de vie. c’est à dire +1 x 4 = +4 point de vie au total. Par exemple, mon barde niveau 4 à 20 point de vie avec un modificateur de constitution de 0. je décide d’améliorer la constitution et elle passe à 12 ce qui lui confère un modificateur de +1 en constitution. mon Barde a maintenant 24 points de vie (20 + ( 4 x +1).
